Dr. Kun Wang received his B.S. degree in Physics from Shandong University in 2011 and his Ph.D. degree in Physics at the University of Georgia under the direction of Prof. Bingqian Xu in 2016. He then worked as a Research Fellow with Prof. Pramod Reddy and Prof. Edgar Meyhofer at the University of Michigan. In 2020, he started his independent career as an Assistant Professor of Physics and Chemistry at Mississippi State University. In Aug 2023, he joined the University of Miami as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and secondary faculty of Chemistry.

Quantum transport in single-molecule electronic devices.

Fun Fact:
Haixin loves skiing and snowboard. He is also a fan of model airplane. He has a cute cat named Taylor.

Plasmonics, light-matter interactions, and computational methods

Fun Fact:
Mehrdad spends his free time building and programming radio-controlled multirotors. Besides, he is an avid fan of Judo.

Research Interest: 
2D materials and single-molecule optoelectronics

Fun Fact:
Shaocheng is an fan of guitar and billiards.
