Our Vision

Welcome to the Wang Research Group, housed on the vibrant Coral Gables campus of the University of Miami.

Our research program lies at the interdisciplinary nexus of physics, chemistry, and nanoengineering, with a primary emphasis on probing and understanding quantum transport, optoelectronics, and energy conversion processes at atomic and molecular scales. Employing state-of-the-art experimental and theoretical tools, we aim to elucidate the fundamental physics and chemistry governing the behaviors of nano- and molecular-scale quantum materials, while translating these insights into innovative technologies for advancing molecular quantum sciences, next-generation optoelectronics, energy harvesting, and chemical/bio-sensing applications.

Our team is deeply engaged with the frontiers of multidisciplinary science, bridging physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering to uncover emergent phenomena in the microscopic domain. We welcome inquiries from motivated prospective graduate students, undergraduates, and postdoctoral scholars interested in contributing to our efforts or pursuing collaborative opportunities on compelling scientific challenges. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us (kunwang@miami.edu) to discuss potential involvement and collaboration.
